About the event

Join Kate, our Wilder Communities Officer, as we explore the northwestern part of King's Meads looking for dragonflies, butterflies and other creatures that call our nature reserve home.

Please be aware this event is aimed at families, with children aged 7+.

This event is part of the very first Herts Rivers Week - a celebration of our globally rare and beautiful chalk rivers. Through a series of walks, talks, and family-friendly events, you can learn about the wildlife chalk rivers support, the challenges they face, and simple ways you can help to protect them.
