If your group would like to learn more about our conservation work for habitats and wildlife in Hertfordshire and Middlesex and what you can do to help local wildlife, get in touch today to request a talk. We offer a range of topics including:
- A Wilder Future for Hertfordshire and Middlesex - How wildlife is doing in Hertfordshire and Middlesex; what the Trust is doing and what we can all do to help
- Gardening for Wildlife – simple ways to halt the decline in native species
- British Wildlife, Past and Present – an overview of species that are no longer present, reintroductions of native species, and non-native species that now live in Britain
- Animal Senses - how species use sight, hearing, touch and taste across the Animal Kingdom
- Geology of Hertfordshire
- Fir and Ponds Wood Nature Reserve - Flora, Fauna and History. An illustrated talk by the current warden covers current management and history from when it was part of the Enfield Chase Royal Hunting forest. What is growing and living in this part of Hertfordshire? The talk can be adapted to your group’s interests.
We also offier a talk called the Value of Design – this is an additional talk offered by one of our speakers. It contains lots of stories showing how design affects every aspect of our lives.
