The inscription wording will be subject to approval by the HMWT team before being engraved. Silver oak leaf plaques can contain a maximum of 60 characters (including spaces). Please be aware that our silver oak leaf plaques are made from solid stainless steel and measure 60 mm x 60 mm - they are deep engraved with paint filled text in black. Please be aware that our gold acorn plaques are made from solid brass and measure 60 mm x 60 mm - they are deep engraved with paint filled text in white. Please allow six weeks from the date of payment for your plaque to be displayed. The Trust will notify you in the event of any delays. The display term on the plaque commences once it has been installed. The Trust will notify the individual once installation is complete. The Garden at Grebe House is usually open on weekdays 9.00am - 4.30pm however due to staff availability and planned closures, we cannot guarantee these opening times. We advise calling or emailing in advance to let us know you are planning a visit. The Trust reserves the right to adjust the position of your plaque in the Grebe House Wildlife Garden if and when needed. Our Wildlife Garden is regularly maintained by our committed team of gardening volunteers, who do their utmost to keep this special site in the best condition for wildlife and our visitors to access and enjoy. Due to the nature and location of the Wildlife Garden as an important suburban wildlife habitat, it will not be possible to leave any memorial gifts, such as flowers or toys, on site beneath the plaque display. Our beautiful plaques are of excellent quality and designed to last, however by placing their order the donor acknowledges that plaques will be displayed outside and open to the elements. The Trust does not accept any liability for any wear or damage owing to natural causes. In addition, the donor acknowledges that the Grebe House garden is open to the general public and the Trust accepts no liability for damage, loss, vandalism, or theft of any plaque. At the end of the display term, you will be given the option to renew your plaque, or have it returned for you to keep.
