About the event

Take walk with our Reserves Officer around Whippendell Wood Site of Special Site of Scientific Interest. Whippendell Wood is an interesting site for wildlife and has examples of different elements of woodland management.

The walk will be approximately 2 hours and may cover muddy and uneven ground. Please make sure you have appropriate footwear and layers.

This event is weather dependent and may need to be cancelled at short notice.

Watford Borough Council is working in partnership with Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust to improve the value of Cassiobury Park LNR and Whippendell Wood SSSI for wildlife and people.
