About the event

Discover dragonflies at this private nature reserve. An amazing opportunity to see the new developing wetlands at Hilfield Park Reservoir and the wildlife attracted to it.

We will...
- learn all about this amazing group of insects, including their fascinating lifecycles and amazing hunting techniques
- learn how to identify many of the more common species and try to spot some rarities
- find out why this reserve is one of the best in the county for dragonflies and damselflies

If you want to learn more about wildlife, this event is for you!

Important: No dogs will be allowed at this event, sorry
Suitable for ages 8+. The walk will be about 2km over uneven terrain

This event and all management for wildlife at Hilfield Reservoir is funded by Affinity Water.

Mobility

Please note there is a steep flight of steps from the car park up to the viewing area over the reservoir. Paths may be muddy and uneven in places
