About the event

Join Park Ranger Dan Hamley to meet the parks newest arrivals – 4 Iron Age Pigs! Following a short walk from the stables (300m) there will be the opportunity to get close to the pigs and see them feeding. Dan will explain how the pigs’ natural soil-turning behaviour will help with the management of wildlife habitats in the park.

Suitable for adults and children.

This event is part of the Heritage Open Days scheme weekend at Panshanger Park. Please do take some time during your visit to have a look in the stables and the other activities going on during this event.
